Jesus, Love Battery. I’d forgotten about them. I’ve been a fan of The Presidents Of The United States Of America forever and tonight, this evening, just realized that Jason Finn was the drummer for both bands when doing some online searches. Bad music fan *slap on wrist*. I went and found my Love Battery CD’s and ripped them - this song is from an EP.
I also forgot that I saw them live back in the early 90’s at The Unicorn in Milwaukee. I’d post a link to something for reference, but there’s no easily linkable stuff about The Unicorn out there on the intarwebs. That club rocked and sucked simultaneously. I saw the Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Reverend Horton Heat… shit, too many name-droppable bands to go through for the 90’s rock aficionados.
