My name is Joe Hoffman. Welcome to my crappy tumblelog.
I enjoy/obsess about keeping an eye on tech stuff and general geekery, which is the focus here for the most part - with some random shit thrown in to mix it up a bit.
On a personal note, I am married with no kids (unless you count my two dogs and my computer, which I do). I have a BFA in Film and Video Production from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and have held several positions in the media industry in one form or another over the years. Currently, I am the Director of Event Technologies (fancy-pants name for Audiovisual Director) at a resort/convention center in Wisconsin. Prior to my current position I made a living doing DVD Authoring, Video Editing and Graphic Design.
After many failed attempts at conventional blogging, I have found my niche here with this tumblelog courtesy of the swell folks at Tumblr. Thanks for checking it out.
